Gummersbach - Melsungen goalkeeper might have dreamed Saturday night still badly of him, 14 goals contributed to the Roman Pungartnik 38:35-success at VfL Gummersbach. "But my record stands at 16 goals."
"He was our match-winner," enthused coach Alfred Gislason. "It's good that he has extended."
On Friday, the Slovenian had just renewed for another year. But that was until recently on the razor's edge. Because of his Vita of the 36-year-old daughter had stopped by a hair his Bundesliga career.
"We had a conversation last week with the school. You will be at the high school - and the more they grow older, the less I can help her. If teachers would have been of the opinion that it is not packed, we would have gone home, "said the Slovenian the EXPRESS.
But vita bites brilliantly through - and pungi can still give one years for VfL gas. "We have a run despite the injury problems. This is due to the great atmosphere in the team. Everyone fights for everyone - remember the one on the field. "
Now the blue can durchschnaufen White, is in nine days before the home game in Cologne against the TV Großwallstadt on the program. "Until the break in January, we must still pass through," says Pungartnik, who has been playing the Euro 2004 runner-not for Slovenia.
"I'm just in an absolute emergency for the national team yet available." For the FC he will play at least one year. "As long as I'm fit and everything fits like now, as long as I want to go."
